Thomas Brooks, who lived from 1608 to 1680, was a Puritan preacher and author remembered for his wise spiritual counsel.
Brooks was a favourite writer of Charles Spurgeon, who observed that "Brooks scatters stars with both hands, using both an eagle eye of faith and an eagle eye of imagination."
