Rune of the Witch: An Urban Fantasy Adventure (The Other Witch Series, Prequel)

Introduction to the “Other Witch Series”, second spin-off to the Other Realm Series, focusing on Amber DeLea. Here we see Bastion the Griffon come to meet with Amber, needing help looking for his Daughter, who is missing. Amber Hates Bastion though, after he killed her love, Jake. But she is too good hearted to take that out on Charlize. This is the lead in to what is going to be a brilliant series. Outstanding Narration as always by Alyse Gibbs!

Perfect little novella kicking of Amber’s story! She has been one of my favorite characters in the Other Realm and Other Wolf series, so I was thrilled to dive in. Though it is a novella, there is a lot packed into the story. Bastion, the deadly assassin has been cursed and comes to Amber for help. However, he is enemy number one in Amber’s eyes. Their witty repartee is so entertaining and I can’t wait to see what happens with the both of them in this series! The narrator does an amazing job!

I love anything Heather G Harris writes and have been looking forward to Ambers story for a while now. This is a quick peak into her world and helps set up for the first book Hex of a Witch. Wonderful writing and world building and really helps you understand the relationship between Amber and Bastion. You could just start with Hex but I really recommend listening to this first! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
