About this ebook

'One of the best fantasy book series of the past decade' TIME

Only the greatest sacrifice can turn the tide of war.

War is brewing in the fifth book of the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius as war looms on the horizon. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves increasingly at odds with those who don't.

With her heart sworn to the warrior-prince by her side and her fealty pledged to the people she is determined to save, Aelin will delve into the depths of her power to protect those she loves. But as monsters emerge from the horrors of the past, dark forces stand poised to claim her world. The only chance for salvation lies in a desperate quest that may take more from Aelin than she has to give, a quest that forces her to choose what - and who -she's willing to sacrifice for the sake of peace.

Kingdoms collide in this fifth book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series.

The cringey teenage vibe is overpowering what could have been enjoyable from the story. This book takes you to the stage where you're groaning at every cliche and every two people thrown together somehow discovering they are fated to be together. Each person is somehow incredibly special enough in their mediocrity to stand out as entirely different enough to change the mind of immortal beings who have lived thousands of years. Everyone is falling at each other's feet pledging loyalty and love for no good reason. It's like someone's fantasy of how important they want to be. Terrible.

Magic Mayhem Madness & Murder. Beasts, Monsters, Creatures & Critters Poison Fangs, Claws, Tail Spikes & Talons. Wind, Fire, Ice & Ash all Come Together To Clash! One of my favourite things about is entire series is the way the new generation of strong females characters (& a few males) are coming together to make the world a better place to change what their Mothers & Father's have so rightly destroyed. They are slowly changing their minds, the way the think, what's important to them & what the people (their subjects need). I love the way they find their love interest or mate & how its not always Love at first sight & the relationships develop over time, like most real life relationships. There's something about the way it's done over series of books that brings these loner outcasts all together as one great big happy family! I find this really appealing and interesting. All the women have such a strength, have been thru hell & back with the mental & physical scars to prove it, the
