About the author

Afzal Sayed Munna is a Doctoral Researcher (PhD in Education) at the University of Bath, currently working as a Lecturer, Business Management at the University of Sunderland in London. I am also acting as a Programme & Module External Examiner at the University of Hertfordshire and London Metropolitan University. A Mentor, at the University of Westminster and a Qualified Assessor, IQA, Lead IQA and EQA. Afzal also serves as an independent education oversight consultant and an entrepreneur by profession. Afzal holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTLS) and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), a Fellow in the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Member of the Society for Education and Training (SET), the British Educational Research Association (BERA) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Afzal serve as a peer reviewer for Journal of Education (SAGE Publication) and sit in the editorial board of International Journal of Asian Education (IJAE) eISSN: 2722-8592, International Education and Culture Studies eISSN: 2766-6778, Gnosi: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Theory and Praxis eISSN: 2714-2485 and Asia-Pacific Journal of Educational Management Research (AJEMR).

Vipin Nadda is a competent, conscientious and motivated academic professional driven with well organized team spirit and goal oriented approach. Nadda is currently serving as Lecturer and Programme Manager (Postgraduate-tourism & Hospitality) with University of Sunderland in London. A science graduate with MBA (Marketing), MTA (Tourism) and PhD(Tourism Management), Nadda has more than fifteen years of Experience in academics and Industry. Besides this, also published two books and presented papers in various international seminars and Global conferences. Nadda also freelances as ‘Education development consultant’ for University of East London, Glyndwr University,Anglia Ruskin University, Director of studies for PhD with Cardiff Metropolitan University UK, ‘Member of Academic Council’ and Chief Examiner for Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, London. As an experienced academician, Nadda has been Lecturing a variety of courses ranging from Marketing, HR in ‘Business and Management’ to ‘International Tourism and Hospitality Management’ in the UK as well as overseas.

Mojtaba (Theo) Ammari Allahyari is a Senior Lecturer in Academic Development (Assessment) at the University of Sunderland in London. His focus is on innovative methods of assessment in higher education, which I consider to be key to teaching in the 21st-century. To that end, he's created a three-step model to support our academic staff to design meaningful, formative and summative assessment tasks for their students. I have nearly 25 years of international experience in senior management and lecturing in higher education. I have a BSc and an MSc in Pure Mathematics and a PhD in Mathematics Education from Warwick University.

Giuseppe Cantafio is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland in London. Prior to his role at the University of Sunderland, Dr. Cantafio worked as a Lecturer and researcher focused on evaluating the impacts and scenarios of Autonomous and Connected Transport at the University of Greenwich. He has held posts at Northeastern University in Boston, San Diego State University, and the Università Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria, Italy, where he was a researcher for the MAPS-LED Project. This project explored multi-disciplinary approaches for local economic development. Dr. Cantafio's research span urban planning, innovation, sustainability, business, and education management. His work aims to advance knowledge and practices around these interconnected domains that are crucial for building sustainable, innovative, and economically vibrant communities and organizations. Throughout his academic career at institutions across Italy, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Dr. Cantafio has contributed valuable insights through his research pursuits. [Editor]
