About the author

I started writing at a young age in high school. I enjoy writing all kinds of poems, but the main topic is Christian poetry. Some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time besides writing poetry is writing short stories about life in general, art, drawing and sketching, and music. I started singing in the church choir when I was in junior high. I enjoy writing songs and putting music to them. I have received Editors Choice Awards for my poetry, and some have also been published in other books through poetry.com. This past year in September, I lost my husband, Phillip Kissinger. He was called home to be with our Father in heaven. Since then, I’ve kept myself busy in work, activities in church, and in my writing. I have decided to dedicate the rest of my life to serving God in all the many aspects of my life.
