About this ebook

Jenny and her boyfriend, David travel to the Caribbean islands to visit with her Aunt Jessie. What begins to be a normal trip turns events upside down and strange things that start happening while they are on their little vacation to visit family. They encountered some strange and funny characters during their adventures during this excursion of the island. Not to mention some strange and coincidental train of events that seemed to be unexplainable, but yet intriguing. The thing that I enjoy writing about the most is events or unexplainable things that just happen in our day to day lives. Angels? Yes, they are Real. And sometimes we dont know when one might be our presence, looking over us, and guiding us along lifes journey. Although this is a fictional story, dont be surprised when an Angel appears in your life. It also shows that our God is a Loving God, and is always looking out for us in one way or another.

About the author

I have been writing poems and short stories for many years. My parents, Maxine Smith Calcote and Jimmy Boyd Calcote (deceased), are originally from Brookhaven, Mississippi, and our ancestor was Bartlett Calcote. My brother, Jim and I grew up at New Hope United Methodist Church, Brookhaven, MS before our family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the early 1960s. New Hope UMC was and always will be the first Homecoming in my life, for it is through our Faith that makes us stronger. The background of our family covers a wide multitude of ministry, musicians, writers and artists. I have been blessed to have a loving family that encourages us to persevere in our faith and dreams.
