Sein Impfratgeber Impfen Pro und Contra wurde zu einem Standardwerk und Bestseller. Ebenso erschienen sind die Titel HPV-Impfung und Impfen – kurz und praktisch. Martin Hirte lebt am Ammersee in der Nähe von München.
