Philadelphia (Del) Parrish thought that once she closed the monstrosity of a "blister" that allowed hellhounds and a former Fate turned Burner through from another a parallel time that the pressure was off. Apocalypse avoided. Of course it's never that easy. Now being the bearer of the Midnight Blade she's hearing voices, there's an army force after her, and she still has two elderly supernatural beings in her care after escaping the attack on Paradise Homes. Mrs. K and Nax never fail to keep things interesting, but new enemies, frienemies, and unlikely heroes emerge as the next portion of Del's adventure continues. Kris Austen Radcliffe's writing has the amazing, innate ability to keep you on the edge of your seat. If you thought Part 1 was good, then Part 2 will blow your mind. Witch of the Midnight Blade Part 2 is easy to read back to back with Part 1 as they're both novellas, fast-paced, and quick reads. Be prepared though to be screaming in agony for Part 3 like you're waiting for the next season of Game of Thrones. It's THAT good! If you're anything like me and enjoy urban fantasy you'll read it all in one sitting.
