About this ebook

Her past tells her to run. My heart begs her to stay.

Rose

I don’t do forever. Growing up in foster care taught me that families fall apart, and promises never last. So when a local firefighter suddenly finds out he’s a dad, I agree to help… but only until it’s time to move on. One month of nanny duty, nothing more. Then his daughter starts reaching for me like I belong, and her gruff, too-hot-for-his-own-good dad kisses me like I already do.

Cullen

I fight wildfires for a living, but nothing has ever prepared me for the eight-month-old who shows up on my doorstep. I’m one diaper blowout away from total disaster until Rose swoops in and saves us both. She says she’s not sticking around. Fine. But every late-night feeding, every laugh around my table, every stolen kiss makes it harder to picture life without her. She may think she’s temporary, but I’m ready to fight for forever.

Welcome to Mustang Mountain, where rough roads lead to redemption. In this rugged mountain town, the Bad Boys of Mustang Mountain live by their own rules. They’re outlaws with code and conviction, protecting their own against anyone who dares to cross them. With troubled pasts and scars that run deep, these men aren't afraid to live life their way. But when fierce, curvy women step into their lives, they find themselves facing a different kind of challenge—one that just might heal the hearts they thought were too far gone.

When a baby shows up in his life, he is over his head but thanks to some match making on Ruby's part Rosa is there to save the day. This heartwarming story is precious and had me cheering on this couple to get their chance to find happiness. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a steamy, surprise single dad firefighter (Cullen)/female nanny without home base (Rose), contemporary small town romance. I empathised with Cullen’s surprise at his daughter’s arrival. I enjoyed seeing him actively engage with his daughter and build a relationship with her. I empathised with Rose’s historical trauma and enjoyed seeing her become more confident in herself and her choices. I enjoyed the relationship development.

Another sweet Mustang Mountain romance! Cullen, the town firefighter, suddenly becomes a dad and finds help—and unexpected love—with Rose. Both have messy pasts but the courage to say yes to something real. Heartfelt, hopeful, and full of small-town charm. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

When Eve London was a girl, she wanted to be a trapeze artist. Instead, she grew up to be like most women–a juggler–trying to keep bunches of balls in the air.

Now she’s a USA Today Bestselling Author who spends her days writing about the kind of men she likes – sexy, shameless, and just a little rough around the edges.
