Wo ist Gott, wenn die Menschen „Ihn“ in ihrer Not am meisten brauchen? Erhört Gott überhaupt das Beten, Flehen und Bitten der Menschen? Und ist das Gebet nicht einfach nur Mittel zum Zweck indem man nur dann betet, wenn es einem schlecht geht und wenn die Not vorüber geht das Gebet verstummt? „Die Frage nach Gottes Güte und Gerechtigkeit ist und bleibt die große Beunruhigung des Glaubens und Betens.“
