Jinx has been introduced but there is so much to learn! Her truth seeker abilities help as does one sexy dragon named Emory. Love the purple sky and turquoise grass the world of the other! While she investigates a murder she finds it is similar to how her parents were killed. Plus lots of oddities about the Other keep her guessing. I love Alyse Gibbs narration! She brings each character to life with their own voice and makes the book more magical.

Still acclimating to life as a Truth Seeker and a Wizard, Jinx is approached by a Dryad (Joyce from book 1), to find her husband. Allegedly killed in a robbery, Jinx uncovers a far more seedier cause of death, as well as links to an illegal drug. It gets the attention of the king of the Dragons, Emory, and together, the two start a dangerous (at times comical), investigation. Outstanding storytelling and Character work, with Exceptional Narration by the Angelic Alyse Gibbs.

I listened to the omnibus with my two kids (ages 11 and 13) and they love, love, love getting to listen to audiobooks in the car. They love Jinx and watching her relationship with Emory grow, her friendship with Lucy, Glimmer and its bl00dlu$t, and all the supernatural of The Other Realm. The narrator does a great job of bringing it to life for my kids.
