Barbarian's Bride

This was an amazing book. I always wanted to know Nora’s story. It’s was more amazing than I thought. Such struggles. A true culture clash but a beautiful work in communication and learning. I really enjoyed the blend of the past and the present and how Nora filled in all the extras. I just about cried with the twins question at the end. Such a sweet and thought provoking story.

4 stars — Wow, I didn’t see the conflict in this one coming! I kind of appreciate that Ms. Dixon showcased what it would be like for a couple, especially a couple coming from different planets, trying to figure out how to compromise in the bedroom. I especially loved Josie’s talk with Dagesh. I really thought this was going to be about the wedding part, but I’m not disappointed at all. I think the only thing that bums me out is that Nora really didn’t talk to Dagesh…but she eventually figure
