What a great introduction into Jinx and the Other realm. I loved the strength of Jinx as she finds out about the magical realm and the magical abilities she has. There are so many surprises and creatures like dragons, dryads and vampire (vampyre)! Even a sexy wizard to show her the way. Alyse Gibbs is phenomenal bringing this story to life with each character having their own voice.

Introduction to P.I. Jessica ‘Jinx’ Sharp, who has the ability to tell when someone is lying. Hired to find a missing student, she meets Zachary Stone, another investigator, who introduces her to ‘The Other Realm’, a place of magic with magical creatures and she is a Wizard. Jinx finds now, that not is all as it has seemed though. Multi-Faceted Tale, beautifully told, with brilliant humour, Urban Fantasy as it should be. Exceptional Narration by Alyse Gibbs who brings these characters to life!

Book one of this series is the start of something special, The Other Realm quickly became one of my favourite ever series. The narration is incredible. Jinx is a private eye that whilst solving cases uncovers more than she bargained for!
