About this audiobook

Confessions of Beau the Gardener – England Late 1970's

Book 3 of 6 – The Rock Star's Retreat

Music Extended Version

The summary of the third book in the series is as follows:

In 1982, Beau’s thriving gardening business leads him to Blackwood Manor, the decadent estate of Jax Marlowe—a charismatic, hedonistic rockstar who wants his wild grounds transformed into a "rock and roll Eden." As Beau works, he’s drawn into Jax’s chaotic world, where excess and artifice reign. Seraphina, Jax’s enigmatic girlfriend, alternately taunts and tempts Beau, testing his resolve as she fights to maintain her place in Jax’s orbit. The garden becomes a battleground of egos, with Beau caught between Seraphina’s desperate manipulations and Jax’s unpredictable whims. When Seraphina stages a reckless seduction to provoke Jax’s jealousy, Beau realizes the toxicity of their world and walks away, leaving the half-finished garden—and its hollow glamour—behind. The experience leaves him wary of fame’s emptiness but reaffirms his love for authentic, rooted beauty.

The initial opening credit music is “Boy, you've got it”, which does run to approximately 3 minutes plus and the “customer” is hungry for his presence. The closing music, “Same time next week, ends the story with a cheerful optimism, I am coming back don't worry absence makes the heart grow fonder and release then is so much sweeter.

The story and music itself runs to just over 40 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
