About this audiobook

ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London

Book 6 of 6: The Dawn of Us

This sixth book of six is summarized as follows:

Summer 1969 finds Adam and Eve reuniting unexpectedly at Woodstock, where Hendrix's revolutionary guitar anthem becomes the soundtrack to their reconciliation. After a year apart—Adam pursuing art in London, Eve expanding her feminist journalism—their separate journeys converge in the festival's muddy utopia. Through sleepless nights in cramped tents and profound conversations under Hendrix's psychedelic "Star-Spangled Banner," they rediscover each other as changed individuals. A post-festival week in New York's fermenting counterculture solidifies their new dynamic: no longer young idealists, but mature creators committed to personal and political evolution. Returning to London as the decade ends, they forge a relationship that honors both independence and connection, their love story becoming a microcosm of the era's transformation from naive idealism to grounded revolution. The series concludes not with an ending, but a dawn—the promise of continued growth as the 1970s begin.

I do hope you enjoy this final instalment, and it's only $3.

The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes, called Electric Pulse, and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music, called Full Motion, ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added.

The book itself runs to about 30 plus minutes and is narrated in my own voice.

I do hope you enjoyed this audiobook series and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
