PLAUD

This has been a huge productivity boon for me. It is a great complete ecosystem for voice to text plus AI summary. The sharing and other app functions make it easy to action the data that is generated. It is NOT restricted to only files from the device which adds tremendous flexibility. The only thing in trying to figure out is how to intercept/record audio from a headset. Looking forward to a new device that can help with that. I use this as an accessibility tool as my hearing is poor.

Early days but I'm favorably impressed. I'm only using the free service and have made only half a dozen recordings. Three have been transcribed and analysed. All have some errors due misunderstanding of the audio. While the analyses are impressive they do contain a number of errors and misinterpretations. It took me a while to learn how to make plaud distinguish between different speakers but, since I did, it works well.

My plaud only connects once to my phone. Then, if I want to reconnect, I have to restart my phone. Connecting should have an easier process than that. Besides that, I have the plaud notepin and always wear it like a watch. Its incredibly useful for recording business meetings or key note speakers. I bought a black wristband off of Amazon because the white one didn't look good with the black plaud. The plastic case on the wristband could use aesthetic improvement.
