Timothy Matthew Slemmons teaches homiletics (preaching) and worship at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. His poems have appeared in Theology Today; his sermons, homiletical essays, and other writings have appeared in Interpretation: A Journal of Bible and Theology, The Presbyterian Outlook, Journal for Preachers, KOINONIA, and elsewhere. In Year D: A Quadrennial Supplement to the Revised Common Lectionary, Slemmons advocates for an expansion of the lectionary in order to enhance biblical literacy and bring the fullness of the canon of Scripture to bear on the life and mission of the church in the world. His series of Liturgical Resources for Reformed Worship (4 volumes) is forthcoming from Cascade Books.
