Nico Schrijver

Nico Schrijver is Professor Emeritus of Public International Law and former Academic Director of the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies of Leiden University. Currently, he serves as State Councillor at the Council of State in the Netherlands and as a judge ad hoc in the Special Chamber Maldives-Mauritius of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. He is a member and former president of the Institute of International Law.
