John O'Toole

John O'Toole has been teaching drama for almost fifty years,with all ages and on all continents. A founder-member of DramaAustralia and Drama Queensland, he was Foundation Chair ofArts Education at the University of Melbourne, and previouslyProfessor of Drama and Applied Theatre at Griffith University.He has written and co-written student textbooks, scholarlyworks, curricula, teacher education programs and evenplayscripts, particularly for TIE. In 2014 he was made a Memberof the Order of Australia, for services to drama education.
