Jerry Lucas

Jerry Lucas grew up outside Buffalo, New York. He attended Cornell University 1968-73. graduating with honors with a Master's degree in engineering. He worked for many years as a software engineer in the Silicon Valley of California. During that time, he authored two books: "Becoming a Mental Math Wizard" (Betterway Books, 1991), and "Great Unsolved Mysteries of Science" (Betterway Books,1993). "Great Unsolved Mysteries of Science" was selected by the New York Times in its 'Books for the Teenage Collection". "Becoming a Mental Math Wizard" was a popular book, nationally and internationally, and was chosen by Betterway Books as its best-seller. While at Cornell, Jerry competed for four years on the varsity swim team. Jerry retired in 2010 and now lives in Paso Robles, California with his loving wife Adriana. He still enjoys fitness swimming, bicycling, hiking, and puzzle solving.
