George Ellis is an internationally-renowned authority in relativistic cosmology and the founder of the General Relativity Research Group at the University of Cape Town where he is a professor emeritus. Dan J. Stein is a professor and the chair of the department of psychiatry and mental health at the University of Cape Town, the director of the Medical Research Council Unit on Anxiety and Stress Disorders, and a visiting professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is the author or editor of more than 25 books, including Cognitive-Affective Neuroscience of Mood and Anxiety Disorders and The Philosophy of Psychopharmacology: Smart Pills, Happy Pills, Pep Pills. Kevin G. Thomas is a senior lecturer in psychology at the University of Cape Town and a member of the executive committees of the South African Clinical Neuropsychological Association and the Psychology Society of South Africa. Ernesta M. Meintjes is a Fulbright Research Fellow at the University of California-Los Angeles and the South African Research Chair in Brain Imaging at the University of Cape Town.
