Ed Ifkovic taught literature and creative writing at Tunxis Community College in Connecticut for over three decades, and now devotes himself to writing fiction. He is the author of nonfiction works on American movies, as well as a study of Diana Ross and Motown music. His critical study of Connecticut author, Annie Trumbull Slosson, dealt with the late Victorian short-story writer, including her early ghost stories. In addition to literary novels, he is currently penning an acclaimed mystery series with best-selling writer Edna Ferber as an amateur sleuth. To date, he has published Lone Star (2009), Escape Artist (2011) and Make Believe (2013). This coming August Poisoned Pen Press will issue the fourth one in the series, Downtown Strut.
