Cristin O'Keefe is a New York Times best-selling author and poet. She has won fellowships and residencies from the National Endowment of the Arts, the University of Pennsylvania, the Amy Clampitt House, and Hedgebrook, among others. She has published seven previous collections of poetry, including How to Love the Empty Air and The Year of No Mistakes, which was awarded Poetry Book of the Year by the Writers League of Texas. She lives in Austin, TX, with her family.
