Carole Foot has been obsessed with imagining other worlds and realities since before she could read and write. She firmly believes that life is too short to be held back by convention and that anything is possible. Her vivid imagination is captured in her stories, she hopes will encourage people of all ages to enjoy reading.Carole is passionate about literacy and its power in life, which has been the story of her own journey. Having had a modest childhood in Australia, she excelled in a career as a doctor, specialising in Critical Care Medicine, before deciding to take the plunge and pursue her love of writing. She is the co-author of picture books for young readers and a magical realism series for older children, teen and adult fantasy readers called Geo the Space Explorer.
