Augusto Cury is a psychiatrist, researcher, and writer. He has developed the Multifocal Intelligence Theory (TIM), which studies the complex process of thought construction, the formation of the ego as a psychic administrator, and the roles of memory. His innovative ideas have been adapted as postgraduate courses at universities in Brazil. He currently directs the São Paulo Intelligence Academy, an academic center specialized in socio-emotional education, with more than 250,000 students.
