Spinning Destiny

 A collection of short stories written over a life-sojourn in 2022. These short stories are a wide ranging and exploratory works of fiction where all are based on real life experiences. The series is a short show case of aspects ranging from mundane to nihilism. From the depths of Myth and Lore to basic real-life situations, these short stories represent the culmination of a journey of life.

Characters such as Gupta-jee who does what he knows best - spinning - is linked to the destiny of others. Then there is the gracious fury of Wali Shah Qalandar, the saint of all saints to comprehend. King J on his journey of self-lessness learns the hard way how destiny unfolds our sense of control in life. It takes an extraordinary effort of sacrifice, courage and destiny for a demon - Betaal - to be now worshipped in the most unlikely of places on Earth.

Why do such stories exist? Could it have been real? Could I be part, a character in a story in future?

Such questions remain unanswered, as they should be, in these stories. Instead, these stories help you find succour in the next best thing - more questions!!
