O David Cleland foi o primeiro autor que eu realmente estudei para entender Gestão de projetos. Este handbook é ótimo para estudo de casos. Utiliza exemplos de aplicação em projetos governamentais e administrativos e apresenta a questão da implementação de gerenciamento de projetos dentro das empresas, de forma alinhada com suas estratégias de forma detalhada. Mas pode ser árduo para quem não está muito envolvido em gestão de programas e portfólios.

About the author

David Cleland has been called “the Father of Project Management.” He is currently Professor Emeritus at the School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh. Lewis Ireland has been with the Project Management Institute for two decades and is Director of Research for the American Society for the Advance of Project Management.
