5 star book by a 5 star author at a 1 star price. only bought it cause really bored and no shops open today. 15 aus $ - what a rip for an e book

When the hardback is only 16% more expensive (£8.99) and the paperback is 25% cheaper (£5.68) this just shows that publishers are exploiting the digital market by pricing this book at £7.49

With no physical book to produce, how can the publishers justify this price? At £1.99 it would be a no brainer. I'll buy the hardback and pass it on..
About the author
Terry Pratchett was the acclaimed creator of the global bestselling Discworld series, the first of which, The Colour of Magic, was published in 1983. In all, he was the author of over fifty bestselling books which have sold over 100 million copies worldwide. His novels have been widely adapted for stage and screen, and he was the winner of multiple prizes, including the Carnegie Medal. He was awarded a knighthood for services to literature in 2009, although he always wryly maintained that his greatest service to literature was to avoid writing any.
