This book picks up from the ending of book one. The whole story and subplots are based on one question: Who exactly is Tobias Hawthorne II and where is he now? The story is packed with more fast-paced decisions and actions as compared to the prequel, complex connections make most of the book, shocking revelations will take you by surprise and of course the love triangle is there till the book end until Avery chooses........ I liked Max being there for some part of the book and there's more depth to the characters. Overall, all loose ends are tied up with a satisfying ending.

I could not put this book down! Just as good as the first and do fast paced, lots of things going on all the time and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
