A lecturer and award-winning author, Larry began his professional career almost fifty years ago as a sheriff’s detective and, later, as a district attorney investigator sleuthing criminal intelligence, major fraud, homicides, and other dastardly crimes. He presently enjoys working as private certified legal investigator in Southern California, mostly assisting law firm clients in civil litigation. His diverse national and international experience of seeing the trying-side of life strangely has led to an interest in writing a collection of poetry, of which four books of poems have been published: The River Rhyme (2015), As a Pierian Spring (2012), Poems prn (2011), and Poums, Salms and Felosophy (2009). To add to his cache of poetry, Larry is a lyricist for songs on two CDs, Music and Poetry from the Heart and Songscapes. In this latest book, Take a Thought . . . Wholesome and Good, he continues to share a rich talent of rhyming life experiences, imagination, humor, and wisdom through providential inspiration.
