About the author

With over 20 years of experience in leadership development, Dolapo Akinpelu

has dedicated his career to cultivating and empowering leaders. His journey began at the collegiate level with Junior Chamber International (JCI), an international renowned leadership development organization with presence in more

than 100 countries of the world, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the President of JCI Kwara, a city chapter of the organization in Nigeria in

2012.

An alumnus of the prestigious Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI),

a U.S. government initiative for emerging African leaders, Dolapo is also a distinguished fellow of the African Young Leaders Fellowship Programme at Accra

Business School. His commitment to leadership excellence led him to the World

Youth Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt in 2018, where he participated in the

Model Arab African Summit (MAAS), a dynamic leadership simulation session.

Dolapo Akinpelu brings hands-on, practical experience from various leadership roles across a diverse range of organizations, including faith-based groups,

NGOs, leadership organizations, workplaces, and community initiatives. His

leadership roles are always marked by significant, transformative results, demonstrating his ability to lead effectively at every level.
