Zach and Galen Have the Heat! Susan Saxx’s “Zachary Undone,” Book 2 in the Men of Refuge Bay series of MM contemporary romances, has a little bit of everything - some danger, romance, steamy bits, and a lovely cast of characters that I am completely invested in. Zachary and Galen are strong, beautiful, fiercely loyal men who both happen to be running from pasts that they would rather forget. Their uncertainty as they try to decide if they are willing to risk their hearts - right down to the verbal sparring that erupts from them out of those fears - just grabs at my heart. Saxx has a way of creating beautifully flawed characters, with their baggage, and flaws that make them so relatable. It’s why it is so easy to become wrapped up in their stories and root for them as they find their ways toward a well-deserved HEA. The author treats MM romance with the respect it deserves, and that care is evident throughout the story. Side characters - Nathan and Seth in particular - add so much to the tale, and I am so looking forward to reading Seth’s story when it comes up. Something tells me that it will be an intense one!

Zachary thought he left his past behind until it came crashing back. He has to go back to it to save his friends who are now family. Galen is running from his past too. What he found with Zachary he's not about to let go. He'll do anything to get him back. I really enjoyed this book.
