The enemy is Other. The enemy is us. They're down here, they're up there, they're nowhere. They want the Earth, they want us to have it. They came to wipe us out, they came to save us.

But beneath these riddles lies one truth: Cassie has been betrayed. So has Ringer. Zombie. Nugget. And all 7.5 billion people who used to live on our planet. Betrayed first by the Others, and now by ourselves.

In these last days, Earth's remaining survivors will need to decide what's more important: saving themselves . . . or saving what makes us human.

A brilliant read from start to finish that you won't want to put down. A true tale of the human spirit and the will to endure. Wishing to hear more of what became of the characters and if they do finally have true peace. How the world moves on and comes to term with events created by the others. As Casieopia states 'I am humanity'. Nail biting to the end. Domie 38 Australia

Enjoyed the first 2 as there was a lot to think about with some interesting turns. The last book asks more questions and doesn't give you any answers. With a predictable plot and no closure, it's a sad end to a good series.
