I wish there had been more world building (or described more), but it was a good, spicy read where the MMC fights for his woman. It follows typical he falls first, needs to keep her, but was unpredictable at times which made it more enjoyable to read. I will read more of Fraternitas and more Lee Savino. This book is described as a dark romance but it is so much more. Jaeger takes Elodie as his own, caring for her and protecting her. Wouldn't we all like a man so romantic. And the sex is so steamy. Still, there is a dark side to the story. And Jaeger's twin is not so excited about his new playmate. The book is fast paced and entertaining, and yes, a little dark. But Jaeger is just...WOW! Highly recommend you reading it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout.
