Last Dance in Salzburg is the fourth book in Vivian Conroy’s Miss Ashford Investigates series and a delightful cozy historical mystery. The slower pace suited the atmospheric tone, and the vivid descriptions of Salzburg, a city I love, transported me straight there. The intriguing mystery kept me hooked, though the romantic tension felt overly drawn out. A charming read for fans of cozy mysteries!

In snowy Salzburg, 1930, Atalanta investigates the murder of an accused jewel thief, uncovering dangerous secrets among the European elite that threaten her life. This book is slow-paced but beautifully written. It spends as much time on Atalanta’s relationships as it does on the mystery plot. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
