Book 1 in the new Kasper Ridge series and it was such a good start. Will and Lucy were such a great couple to read. Loved watching them navigate their feelings and issues in both their private and business relationships. They both had things that they need to prove to certain people in their lives and they needed each other during this process. The chemistry between them was so hot and fun to watch and the more they worked side by side, the hotter it got. Ms. Stewart knows how to create characters and worlds that will pull you in. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this story very much. Will and Lucy are drawn to each other in spite of good reasons to leave each other alone. They have to sort through a lot of old baggage in order to become the couple they have the potential to be. The supporting characters are interesting, and I am looking forward to Matteo and Malone's story. Also, I want to know what the treasure is!

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series. I thought Lucy and Will had great chemistry and watching their sparks fly was fun. The writing was well done and the storyline captured and kept my interest easily. A wonderful combination of emotion, drama, heart, mystery and suspense flows smoothly across the pages to deliver a very satisfying reading experience. This is my independent, impartial review.
