Criminals in uniform by Sanjay Singh is a thriller and suspense novel. It is a gripping tale unfolds mysteries one by one. The story is really mind blowing and is written in fast paced manner. The story has been set in India’s commercial and underworld capital, Mumbai in early 2021. The story starts with the discovery of explosives found inside the parked car near the house of asia's richest man Kuber. This starts the investigation of the police. This case seemed to be very easy but as time passes it unfolds the truth behind it and reveals mysteries behind it. The main protagonist of the story is Assistant Police Inspector Yatin Sathe, the controversial head of CIU of the Mumbai Police, who handles all high-profile cases becomes the chief investigation officer of this case as well. When the investigation starts by 6 different investigating agencies Sathe becomes the prime suspect of the same case. Was he really involved in this case? Or Is there anyone who is behind all this? Sathe repeats the same mistake which he committed 17 years back . What was the mistake? Was this mistake related to that case? The book is descriptive as well as fast paced. It brings twists and turns at the end of each chapter which hold the readers towards this book. The narration was good along with the writing style. This book is written as in the form of movie. So that everyone is going to enjoy reading this book.
