About this ebook

Don't miss A Dangerous Train of Thought, the thrilling latest installment in the Ryder & Loveday series! Pre-order now.

‘The pairing of Ryder and Loveday is a stroke of genius.’ Clare Chase, author of the Eve Mallow and Tara Thorpe mysteries

Oxfordshire, 1962. As May Day dawns in the peaceful village of Middle Fenton, a young woman is found brutally strangled, her body tied up with ribbons in the middle of the green. A week later, her boyfriend is found hanged in a local barn, and the police assume guilt over murdering his beloved has driven him to suicide – but not everyone is convinced.

WPC Trudy Loveday and Coroner Clement Ryder are called in to investigate, and it doesn’t take long for them to suspect a far more chilling truth: a double murderer is at large.

As the pair dig deeper, it becomes clear the killer will do anything to protect their secret – even kill again. With time running out, can Trudy and Clement unmask the culprit before they become the next victims?

A gripping, twisty cosy crime novel, perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, Richard Osman and M.C. Beaton.

Origin of the alphabet; number line, computer is the same place. There isn't a calendar without a programmer; different ones in society are for companies to supply basic utilities; motor vehicles, food clothes & shelter. Computer programs give the answers to outstanding questions; humans do not. They also drive all artificial moving objects; humans do not. One program designs all the building and a different one does cars; the program includes after they are built schedules for them and us. Cameras are a derivative of computer separate from video recorder for unreal pictures and photograph obstructing justice to disappear or vanish includes video tapes & DVD's.

law-enforcement, procedural, cosy-mystery, small-town, England, murder, murder-investigation, whodunit***** With Faith Martin's mysteries I never know for sure if I should classify as procedural or cosy, all I know is that I've never read one that didn't keep my eyes to the page until finished (regardless of the hour). This series involves the talents of WPC Loveday and former surgeon, now coroner, Dr. Ryder working to find the truth of the deaths ably described in the publisher's blurb. It is set in 1964 in England near Oxford, but good police work knows no borders or year. And it is the due diligence that brings the right murderer to court. Excellent! I requested and received a free temporary ebook from HQ Stories/Harper Collins UK via NetGalley. Thank you!

It was when she turned to writing detective stories as Faith Martin that she became more widely known.
