I enjoyed the storyline and idea. I even enjoyed the characters. I just felt that sometimes they were flat and that there could have been more emotion. I hate that I feel this way, because I went into it with high hopes. While I love novellas and don't have any issues with stories that move fast, I still want there to be a connection that can be felt. Don't read this if you're the kind of person who would clutch their pearls in church and get offended at the hot stuff written in this book. If you'd like more details read the other reviews. I'll just say I loved the characters and the story line. A really sweet small world end for the characters Dane and Cassie. Extra points to the author for bringing up how our inner voices can really mess up our actual view points of ourselves. Would consider other books by this author.

I really enjoyed this. Dane is a super hot ex-Marine and Cassie is a curvy woman who drools at just the sight of him... let alone the rest of him ! There is a use of chains that I've never come across before that added a different twist and an ex that is definitely deserving of Danes' notice.
