About this ebook

Now with a stunning new cover look comes this captivating volume in King's epic fantasy series THE DARK TOWER.

The No. 1 Sunday Times bestseller The Wind through the Keyhole is a perfect bridge between the fourth and fifth novels in Stephen King's epic masterpiece. A story within a story which features both the younger and older gunslinger, it is also a wonderful introduction to The Dark Tower series.

As Roland Deschain, and his ka-tet leave the Emerald city, a ferocious storm halts their progress along the Path of the Beam. While they shelter from the starkblast, Roland tells a story about his younger days, when he was sent by his father to investigate evidence of a murderous shape-changer.

At the scene of the crime he had tried to comfort a terrified young boy called Bill Streeter by reciting a story from The Magic Tales of the Eld that his mother used to read to him at bedtime, 'The Wind through the Keyhole'.

'A person's never too old for stories,' he said to Bill. 'Man and boy, girl and woman, we live for them.'

And stories like these, they live for us.

I liked this one a lot, too... Set in the Dark Tower universe, but I believe quite a bit earlier in time to the plot with Roland and friends - and with completely different characters, except for one "Roland & friends" interlude. The rest of it is really a sort of fairy tale, suitably gothic, and very captivating! I like young Tim a lot! 🙂👍

Its bitter sweet .... I love this book and going back into Roland's past, but it also finushes the Dark Tower series for me which Im devasted about. Hands down my favourite series of all time, and highly recommended. You dont need to have read the other books within the DT series to pick up Wind thru a keyhole and not fall in love with Stephen Kings writing, stories and characters

After finishing the dark tower books I felt lost and stuck in midworld, unable to move onto a new story. I decided to pick up this book and now I feel I have closure from Roland. A brilliant way to end the dark tower books, even if it's chronologically not the last.
