About this ebook

An updated edition of the #1 New York Times bestselling book celebrating a decade of timeless wisdom, with new content from Oprah

What do you know for sure?

This is the question that guided Oprah Winfrey’s long-running magazine column, where she reflected on her life and shared insights with millions of readers. It was a question, she said, that offered her a way to “take stock of her life" in pivotal moments. Over the years, there have been many such opportunities, such as when she retired The Oprah Winfrey Show, launched her own television network, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and celebrated milestone birthdays.

These essays offer a rare and profound glimpse into the mind of one of the world's most extraordinary women. Now, for the first time, this powerful collection has been updated with new material and stories reflecting Oprah’s seven decades of lived experience. Candid, inspiring, and dynamic, the words Oprah shares in What I Know For Sure shimmer with the sort of wisdom and truth that readers will turn to, and share, again and again.

Would recommend to anyone looking for positive, encouraging words to help them over a hump in their life. You must be open to being the change before you read this. Finger pointers likely will not enjoy this book to its fullest.

A book of both great insight and small reminders that life is what you make it. Oprah's life lessons encourage us to rise into our full potential, live life to its fullest, use your power to choose, and be grateful in all things. I absolutely loved it!

Relatable advice. Yes she's successful...now. And rich...now. But she wasn't always. She is relatable because of her past struggles and offers firsthand advice and insight to get through it. She falls and gets up again. She is inspiring because she is flawed.
