Difficult to describe how one feels after such a book. To side with John or Mustapha Mond? To embrace hardship for the sake of itself or embrace ease of existence and what could only be described as the blissful ignorance of Soma? Questions one can only answer for themselves. Wether society goes this way or not there will always be Bernards as well, those who yearn for more but as the hardships begin are frightened off.
