L’Ufficio di progettazione OKB 115 Yakovlev, dal nome del fondatore Aleksandr Sergeevič Jakovlev, era un ufficio tecnico di costruzioni aeronautiche sovietico, e oggi è una società per azioni del gruppo United Aircraft Corporation.
Il nome Yakovlev è ampiamente utilizzato in Occidente, ma in Russia viene abbreviato in Yak seguito dal nome, o modello, dell'aereo.
