I had a hard time getting through The Four Agreements, and this one was even worse. The intro and the first two chapters were written better than the last book, but the rest of the book returns to Miguel Ruiz's over-explained style. Chapters 3, 4, 5, & 7 are about the other four agreements mentioned in the first book. Chapter 6 was about Santa Claus. I skimmed it after finally getting to the fifth agreement in Chapter 8 and stopped reading after that. In summary, it was a waste of time.

Book is great in explaining a bit on self awareness in a spiritual sense, using stories as metaphors to explain an idea well, but it gets very repetitive towards the end and goes off topic. otherwise it's a good read to have what you know, articulated and reassured, or to learn a life lesson you haven't learned yet.
