About this ebook

Because Tokyo is a notoriously crowded city and land prices are astronomical, many Tokyo home-owners build spacious open-plan houses on tiny plots of land. The design sensibilities here combine the best of East and West - with liberal use of wood and glass, open, uncluttered spaces, lofts and dens, inner gardens and raised patios. This collection of beautiful, full-colour interior and exterior photos also offers a plethora of tips on how to make the most of small living spaces.

Lots of pretty pictures but not enough description on the houses. Apart from the first couple, there's no context or description for any of the other examples.
