What a fun read! Yep, the reader has a ball--Lilly not so much. She's turning her inherited family mansion into a B&B. Well, that's the plan. More rooms are taken up by family, unproductive family, than rooms for guests. Luckily her boyfriend is working on some cabins in the back to add more availability. Hopefully, the grand opening will be a success. Nope--not when a dead body shows up in a storage shed. They need to find the murderer. When Aunt Polley "helps" things really get going. Magic spells. Magic storms. Ghosts. Demons. What more can you ask for? Lilly just hopes with all if that they find the killer and live to tell about it. The story has fun characters, new and friends revisited. You'll love the familiars. This one is a great read to sit back and enjoy without a lot of angst. Another good one from Michelle Pillow.

4.5 Stars As always, Michelle M. Pillow has done a fantastic job of keeping me entertained from beginning to end. This book was a great addition to the series and was filled with well written, endearing characters while the story line was engaging and kept my attention. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lily's Grand Opening . . . Lily Goode is opening her Garden Gnome Bed and Breakfast, but it isn’t the rousing success she had hoped for. There is a murder. Her family is a bit obnoxious, although she is terribly accepting of their faults, evidently not good at communication and confrontation. Fortunately Nolan is a good addition to her life with tons of patience – too bad she doesn’t seem to deserve him. So when a guest is found dead in one of my cottages during her grand opening celebration, Lily realizes this mystery must be solved or her B&B business is doomed to failure. Can she find the murderer? Or will she try to witch-it-away before the authorities find out? This is a somewhat entertaining mystery with a variety of characters, some very annoying, and a story line that flows well as the reader tries to figure out the mystery along with Lily. Was someone trying to ruin her B&B business? Grab your copy and find the answer!
