Sometimes you are fortunate enough to meet a person who gives you hope because wherever they are there is positivity and light. That is Rachel Pearson. She has always been an amazing writer. She is one of the most intelligent, kind, honest and sincere individuals I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

Rachel Pearson, MD, PhD, is a resident physician who also holds a PhD from the Institute for the Medical Humanities. Her writing has appeared in Scientific American, the Guardian, the Texas Observer, and the New York Times Book Review.
