Opinion dressed up as fact. It's clear the author is cherry picking ideas and drawing convenient connections (mistaking correlations with cause and effect) to suit the conclusions he's already reached. This is particularly apparent when it is in an area of study in which this author is not an expert (like failing to appreciate that biological taxonomy is a human construct not some physical law). So this book is entertaining much like the ravings of a prophet that turn out to have a grain of truth; this is not a book you should rely on to improve your understanding of the world and how it works.

It is a good book and good for people who like history, there is nothing wrong with this book and it's very awesome tbh. Also the thing is I have not performed good at my history exams so this gives some sheer knowledge NGL, the only reason why this gets a 3 star review is because I love maths, physics and chemistry and History is not really me favourite subject hehe

Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari is nothing short of a masterpiece, a modern "bible" for understanding who we are as a species. Harari seamlessly weaves history, anthropology, and science into a compelling narrative that explores humanity's journey from insignificant apes to the dominant force shaping the planet. The book challenges conventional thinking, addressing pivotal moments like the Cognitive Revolution, the Agricultural Revolution, and the Scientific Revolution. It doesn’t just recount facts but prompts deep reflection about our values, choices, and the future of our species.
