I won't even say whether it was good or bad. There were 100 pages short from what was claimed. Don't bother reading it. Waste of money with no proper ending

In book 2 of the freed billionaire, there’s a lot to learn about Jada’s background and her own dysfunctional family. Jada realises she has a lot to learn about the true nature of her mother’s political aspirations, and that growing up with a parent who demands perfection and unwavering support has been the crux of shaping her more than she realises. Its intriguing to see the dynamic between her and Spencer change, as she tries to evaluate her most important relationships – that with her mother and with Spencer – and whether they can live in harmony together. Impulse was a great follow up to Enthral, with an amazing balance between Jada and Spencer’s relationship, all the while reminding the reader of the mission to unravel the dark Christmas family past.

This second book was so, as we say in the UK, un-put-downable. It follows on from the first diving into Jada Forte and her family. It has political shenanigans, a bit of rumpy pumpy, intrigue, a shooting, more mystery and more intrigue and so full of left turns. Just how I like my books! I dont want to be able to guess the plot, and I need strong female leads, which this book has in abundance. Book 2 carrys on seamlessly and takes you further into Jada and Spencer's relationship. They family secrets and lies and is a great read. It takes you into the political landscape of American politics and reveals what really goes on in those halls of power. It opened my eyes and politics is far more dangerous and sexy than I could have imagined. We further delve into Spencer and Jada's relationship, their childhoods and what shaped them and ultimately mould them to be the adults they are today. Pushing against their upbringing and influence of their parents. I love reading about their journey
