This is the most adorable novella and honestly, I wish we could have more. The charaters are great, not just Lark and Da'nika but Lark's family, especially his parents. I wish we could have a whole story about all of them. The premise is super cute! The story moves quickly because it's short but at a logical pace. The town sounds like a fun place to visit. All in all, I just adored the whole thing!!

This fun little treat delivers everything it promises. It is short and sweet and gives the reader a very generous blast of feels and humor. I thought Lark and Da’Nika were very likable and that it was super easy to feel the chemistry that simmered away as these two progressed from friends-to-lovers. The story itself is a wonderful blend of cuteness and realism. This couple's evolving relationship takes a path that I felt came across as genuine and quite believable.

Lark needs a girlfriend, wait, scratch that he needs a fiancee asap! Who better to rope into your crazy scheme than your best friend? Da'Nika however is 100% for helping but not so sure about whether she can handle what the situation will do to her heart. Loved the silliness and fun, the parents who were referred to as elves. The teasing between the brothers Lark and Sparrow. Da'Nika's friendship that led her to this small town with her best friend and daughter. But what I enjoyed most is the way Lark reacted when he realized what he needed to do to have his holiday happily ever after. I have voluntarily left this review.
